Festival tickets may be purchased online through TICKETFLY.COM. Service charges and handling fee applies. Tickets will go on sale at TICKETFLY.COM at 12:00 noon ET on Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Purchase Tickets by Phone

Tickets may be ordered by phone through TicketFly. Service charges and handling fee applies. Tickets will go on sale at 12:00 noon ET on Saturday, April 1, 2017 .To place a phone order, call 877-987-6487. Phone hours for TicketFly are 10am - 9pm ET, 7 days per week.

Tickets may be purchased directly from the Merriweather Post Pavilion box office. The box office accepts Master Card, Visa, American Express, and Discover. No service charge if paying by cash. Service charge applies if paying by MasterCard or Visa. No service charge if paying by American Express, Discover, or by debit card. Merriweather Post Pavilion is located at 10475 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, Md.

Group Sales

If you have a group of 12 or more persons attending the Capital Jazz Fest on the same festival-day, you are eligible to purchase group tickets and have the per-ticket service charges waived. Group tickets are for general admission only and are not available for reserved Pavilion seating. Group tickets are available until April 28 or until the event sells out, whichever comes first. Tickets will be shipped to you a few weeks prior to the festival.

VIP Package for Two

The Capital Jazz Fest is again offering a limited number of VIP Packages. The package includes two adjacent Floor seats in the Center Floor section, a VIP parking pass for one vehicle, and admission for two to the VIP area. The VIP area is a private location near the Pavilion Stage that features a cash bar and private rest rooms.

The Pavilion Stage

Covered seating is available at the Pavilion Stage. All covered seating is reserved and advance tickets are required. Lawn seating is also available at the Pavilion Stage. Seating in the lawn area is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Symphony Woods Stage

The Symphony Woods Stage is located on the festival grounds, about a three-minute walk from the main pavilion seating area. All festival tickets include free admission to the Symphony Woods Stage. Chair seating and lawn seating are available at the Symphony Woods Stage on a first-come first-serve basis. All seating at this stage is outdoors, general admission, i.e. no reserved seats.

General Admission

All General Admission seating is outdoors and on a first-come first-serve basis. Seating is available on the main lawn, the side lawns, and in Symphony Woods. Specific seating locations are not guaranteed. Arrive early for best choice of seating.


Floor Seating

Floor seating is located in the first nine rows of the floor (rows AAA through F), directly in front of the Pavilion Stage.

Children's Ticket Policy

Children age 2 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. All persons seated in Pavilion Seating must have a ticket, regardless of age.

Accessible Seating

Persons requiring mobility accessible seating should contact TicketFly customer service at 877-435-9849. Persons requiring hearing or visually accessible seating should call Merriweather Post Pavilion at 410-715-5550.

Refund Policy

The Capital Jazz Fest is held rain or shine. Talent lineup and schedule are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted.
