Oranjestad, Aruba

Located off the coasts of Venezuela and Colombia, this windswept Dutch island feels like another world. Offering miles of white sand beaches and crystal clear water, there’s nothing quite as rejuvenating as an Aruba vacation. Our ship will be docked in Oranjestad, the island’s enchanting capital city, with its decidedly Dutch flavor. Sail along the lush coastline and watch the spectacular Caribbean sunset from the deck of a catamaran. Scuba dive the wreck of the SS Pedernalis. Unwind on Aruba’s famous Palm Beach. Or shop for European treasures in Oranjestad. Relax in the shade of a swaying Divi Divi tree on a pristine beach, or explore untamed coastal cliffs in an exotic landscape filled with cacti. Just one day in Aruba can lead to a lifetime full of stories!

Willemstad, Curacao

Besides having a good mixture of history and modernism, this precious island of Curacao is also a a multicultural melting pot. Willemstad, the island’s capital and historic center, is a unique mixture of Dutch architecture and Caribbean pastels. It has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its gabled row houses overlook lovely Sint Anna Bay. While Willemstad’s legendary days of yore can be explored at the Kura Hulanda and Curaçao Maritime Museum, this is a vibrant, living city too. Make a stop at the floating market or a visit to a Curaçao distillery to taste the famous local liqueur. Natural wonders await as well as some of the Caribbean’s most stunning diving and snorkeling spots are here. Finally, a meal in Willemstad will let you experience the diversity of the island through the surprising flavors of its cuisine, which reflects European, Caribbean and Latin American influences.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

For Day 2 of our sailing, the private island paradise of Half Moon Cay will be your playground for the day! Whether you want to relax to the sounds of the sea or embark on a thrilling adventure, there will be plenty of things to do. Go horseback riding in the ocean. Get a massage in a cooled, oceanside cabana. Hop on a personal watercraft and have a wild ride. Bike up to Pegasus Ranch to get a lay of the land or cycle into the bay on a water bike. Wade with stingrays in Stingray Cove. Slide, splash, and play the day away at Half Moon Cay Waterworks, a multilevel play structure with water slides and climbable sea creatures. Stroll the two miles of beach for a blissful sensory experience not found anywhere else. Or take a narrated glass-bottom boat tour to view kaleidoscopic marine life and corals. Plus kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, and more! And don’t forget to check out the Tropics Restaurant food pavilions for the complimentary island buffet!
